RHAP students commissioned to paint a mural at Coffey Park

RHAP students were commissioned in August of 2016 to paint a mural near a playground in Red Hook’s Coffey Park. This was organized by the Brooklyn Parks Department in conjunction with Red Hook Conservancy. The unveiling of the mural was celebrated in conjunction with the restoration of handball courts at a ceremony attended by our Council Member Carlos Menchaca, then Brooklyn Parks Commissioner Kevin Jeffreys and his Chief of Staff Marty Maher. RHAP students will work on more murals in Coffey Park this Spring.
